Premise

Play as Trixie, the digital cat, and enact revenge for your human by plaguing the internet and its AI systems with your infectious malware!

Hack Attack is a 2D platformer featuring a couple of levels and unique traversal/combat mechanics.

How To Play

The Computer

Your goal is to infect the computer at the end of each stage with malware. You'll have to get to it first, though!

Mortality

Just because you're digital doesn't mean you are invulnerable! Coming into contact with hazards like spikes, or protective measures like firewalls, or other digital foes such as Sir Chugsworth, will damage you. You begin the game with 3 lives - represented by the hearts on the screen - but lose one every time you are hurt. If you run out of lives, the game is over, and your revenge has failed.

Bells

Spread all throughout the digital realm are bells - both big and small. Picking up bells is fun and rewarding, and when you collect 32, you gain an extra life! Your total number of bells is displayed on the screen.

Dashing

Your most crucial advantage is your dash move. Dashing allows you to instantly teleport a meter or two away in any of the four cardinal directions. You can use dashes to extend your jump length, reach higher or lower areas, get through walls, and even neutralise other digital foes! Use it well.
